Hi all,

A problem suddenly appeared on my Yashicamat EM. Shutter worked quite well, but a friend of mine did push the self-timer lever with shutter on "M" position. Since then, shutter opening and closing is reaaaaally slow, at all speeds, with or without self-timer. The time spent fully opened seems still OK (at least depends on speed setting...). Is there a way to fix that somebody here could indicate me ?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

I suppose you'll have to go in and clean it. In response to this post (and other similar ones recently), I just added a TLR repair page to my Tech Notes section. Not very refined at the moment, but take a peek anyway http://rick_oleson.tripod.com/index-158.html
and let me know if it leaves you with any questions (I suppose it probably will)

Thank you for your response and your link. I'll precautionously try to dissamble this shutter and clean it.
