I also use the maxxum 7000, great camera. The problem very probably is with the shutter release switch. I can assure you that the internal lithium battery has nothing to do with the problem, as I have been using mine with a "dead" internal battery since 1998. Unfortunately, I'm of no help as to the actual repair/replacement of the shutter release switch. Good luck. |
