Ok this is a very old camera that i really want fixed. It's a Praktica B100 but im not sure if that info is neccessary to the question. The advance lever(for the film after the shudder goes off) is stuck. Could that be the cause of a a dead battery or is the shudder broken? or is it something else? please let me know wut i can do. its very important i get it fixed.

The camera needs a fresh 28 series 6 volt battery to function. The shutter may be wound but it will not release without a battery.
