HI all
i have a pentax me f which i need a reference for the wiring that sits to the right of the prism to reconect it. I thought i had the notes correct but am not sure . also found the release contact wire under neath and not sure which pin this goes to.

I'm not familiar with an ME f model but there is an online repair manual for an ME at:
www.robertstech.com/pentax.htm. It's linked to this forum in the left hand bar.

I have just downloaded this manual and its great. Similar to the me f but I am not yet convinved identical. the area is covered here and is obviously an area to watch for. hopefully someone willhave the answer.

brilliant manuals. problem was the five contacts that are above the switch use four wires as i had notes down. the catch was the hard wire friom the switch attaches to a very fine wire underneath that is almost invisable. fixed now!!!

thougth i had sorted this one but find leds are working ok but shutter time is not???? help

Were the speeds working previously? If so it is probably a solder joint.
