put batteries in mx after shelved for 2yrs. meter diode stays on. can't be turned off by turning shutter lock or retracting winder. i luv the camera but not a millionaire. i am original owner. the question is: should i try to repair or is 20 yrs too old for any camera? i don't even know if the problem is serious. even if it is serious can i still sell the camera and 2 lenses. i feel it is a classic and a collectors item. need help here. thanks in advance.

The simple repair is at the bottom of the page of the attached link. Just did it myself and it took all of 5 minutes and did the trick. Good Luck
