I just received my XD 11 from the shop and was told that the main circuit board needs replacing but parts are no longer available. Any ideas where to turn. Would also appreciate info where to get a service manual. This way some of my old eltronic parts form my Ham Radio days may be useful. Thanks in advance. |

Most probably your XD is history unless you find a donor.
There is a scanned XD-11 service manual out there on the net. I have a copy of it. But it is over 30meg! You have broadband?
Really doubt ham parts will work...but who knows.

This may not be a problem with the circuit board and is possibly fixable! I am a camera technician and may be able to fix the problem. Can you tell me why you were told the main circuit board needs replacing and what was the initial problem. Parts may be available. |
