Hi, I need to assemble the wheels meter system of the Canon AE-1 (not Program). It consists of two wheels connected by a thin thread. One is under the rewind lever and the other under the wind lever. I missed the correct position by accident. I've not found anything on the net about it. Any help will be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Jose. |

From what I understand there are at least 2 positions you have to follow otherwise meter reading and exposure will be incorrect. I had my AE-1 serviced by Garry's Camera a while ago, the cable had to be replaced. If you're unsure better try him out. Their prices are very reasonable and turnaround time was 6 days.
