I have been accepted the task of setting up two CCD closed circuit cameras in our recreation hall.

The cameras I have been given have "C" mounts and "CS" adapters, but no lenses. If memory serves me correctly, some 8mm cine cameras used C mount lenses.

I have a number of very good Pentax screw mount lenses that I would like to use on these cameras.

Can anyone give me a clue as to the feasibiluty of such an arrangement, and what type of adapters should I be shopping for.

This is a gratis, no-profit/gain community project for me.

Thanks for any information.

Roland,

C mount lenses are very cheap on ebay...usually. If I was doing it I'd use C mount because you can get wider angle lenses cheap.

Anyone have any C mounts...free gratis? I might, I'll dig into a few boxes and see what I can find. Any idea of focal length that might be good in the room? Use view angle to determine.

Henry
