I refer to my earlier posting on my battery eating OM-2N. I believe this phenomenon is caused by the main switch being stuck in the closed postion. I wish to reach this switch and see if I could do some flush cleaning with lighter fluid. I have examined the exploded diagrams of OM-2N downloadable from the web [olympus.dementia.org/hardware/]. I suspect the main switch is the part "ZJ128800" in Fig 7/10. Does anyone know how to reach this part without pulling out the mirror box which I am reluctant/afraid to do? Thanks!
