Hi, I got a Minolta hi-matic 9 which had a stuck shutter. I tried to clean the blades without disassemble but it didn't work. I disassembled the shutter and cleaned the blades but realized I have 6 shutter blades instead of 5 (there are only 5 slots/pins) so my question is, how must I remount these 6 blades in just 5 slots? The shutter is a Seiko FLA (I think it is the same to Minolta hi-matic 7, 7S and Olympus SP). |

The first and the last blade overlap, some people think the sixth blade is superfluous, cf this: https://kyp.hauslendale.com/classics/yashicaminister.html For sound info on shutter overhaul I can recommend Daniel Mitchell's site: http://www.daniel.mitchell.name/cameras |
