I have not used this lens for quite some time. I just noticed on what looks like the inside of the front element something that looks like a crystalline growth reaching out from the edges. It almost looks like very thin ice has formed on the surface of a window. Anyone have any idea what this might be?
Once you get it apart, some Athletes Foot Cream will cure it. Just slather it on, and wait 24hrs to remove it. Don't waste money on the national brands, as any dollar store brand will do just as nice.
