I own a beautiful mat 124g that was recently dropped. from that moment on the shutter mechanism no longer worked. I acquired the repair manual and began to hack away at the issue. I was wondering if anybody had any experience or insight into the way the mechanics of the shutter system operate. The diagrams are not providing me with enough information. I need to know how the parts work together and how I can get them back operating again. I can provide pictures If necessary |

Yes, I do. Search for posts by me here, you will find some descriptions of how the shutter works (with photos). Other than that, do a google search for Rick Oleson's page, his notes are second to none, he draws sketches though so maybe look for my photos first and then read his notes before you open your shutter...
