Hello, I have an Osawa 35-105mm F3.5 Macro Zoom lens (Konica FT1) that was dropped and apparently does not work. It is my Dad's lens and was taken to a repair shop. He was told it is not repairable. I don't have other details, but there are no grossly visible problems. I have been looking on eBay for the same lens, but no luck yet. Any advice?? What would you do in similar circumstances? |

Hi Dave, I'd go looking on eBay for a similar one :-) Depends on the degree of damage, but I suspect delving inside a zoom like yours would be quite a scary experience! I have a Tokina 35-105 macro zoom for my OM and it's a great performer, my favourite lens at the moment. Good luck! Colin |

Hi, Dave. I would look for a new lens. Personally I have never liked Osawa brand name lenses. Always had problems with them. Look for a Vivitar, Sigma, or Tokina or some other replacement for it. It would also be cheaper to buy one of these on eBay then to get the Osawa repaired. |

Hi, I have a Vivitar 35-105 one touch that has excellent optics and works OK but the zoom/focus ring has a lot of side to side play. Is there any fix for this? |
