I have an OM10, and recently i purchased a Winder 2 for it. When i first used it, the shutter mirror instantly broke, not re-setting itself. I took the bottom away, and jiggled around with the small lever arm, and eventually got it working again. However, the shutter speed appears to be the same regardless of mode. I have had it on manual, and automatic, however the speed of the shutter never seems the change? Any help?

Also, has anybody else had this problem and how do i get the Winder to work? The button doesnt work...

Any answer would be much appreciated.

Manual mode just gives you a 1/60 fixed speed unless you have the Manual Adapter plugged into its little socket next to the lens mount.

Sometimes if a winder has sat idle for a long time, the electrical connection between the battery tray and the winder gets dodgy - when I first got my Winder 1 it was very unreliable, and it improved with use (largely this meant removing and reinserting the battery tray) until it was perfect and then stayed that way.
