I'm new to taking apart old cameras, this is the first one I've attempted. So far, after some research, I've removed all the glass front and rear:

Now I want to get the whole lens barrel with shutter off. as seen here:

Can anyone help with this?

At first, one aperture blade was stuck open, I carefully used some 100% acetone to clean it, and now it opens and closes freely with the rest of them. The problem now is that it stops 1mm short of opening fully:

I'm thinking that removing the whole barrel will give me a better look at what is going on.

Yes, on most Japanese RFs of this era, if there's any problem with the aperture or shutter blades, you begin by taking the whole shutter off, and then disassemble from the rear.

If one blade is not behaving symmetrically, it may likely have a broken pivot. Even if it just needs to be fit back into its slot, it will still be a very tedious job to fix. But do-able!
