I recently inherited an Iloca Rapid B with what appears to be a faulty shutter mechanism. I'm pretty handy with a screwdriver but I've never fiddled with a camera's insides before so I'm in need of some advice. I'm following this set of instructions for disassembly, but embarrassingly I'm stuck at "Unscrew the lens". Exactly what bit am I unscrewing there, where should I grip it? I'm wary of applying too much force to the wrong thing and damaging the camera beyond even the most advanced repair skills.

You unscrew the black nameplate on the front of the lens. I use a 2" length of rubber drain pipe from a washing machine, but you could use a rubber glove for grip to unscrew it [anticlockwise]

Thanks for the info! I'll have a hunt for something to get a good grip on the nameplate.
