Depending on how hard it is to get the prism out, I may want to clean some fungus out of the internal veiwfinder lens on a Minolta XE-7. I don't have an owners manual, either, and want to know the battery requirement and what the best available alternative is. Any advice is appreciated!
The prism isn't hard to take out. In fact there is no need to even remove the wind lever or rewind knob. The biggest problem is the pletora of wires. Email me directly, I have some photos of a Leica R3 that might help you.
