Hi I'm new here, just found this site. It seems full of interesting information but I have searched and can't find anything about how to adjust focus on a Super Ikonta III. I placed the camera at exact 2 meters from the target and checked with a ground glass on the film rails. The range finder is off with about 40 cm closer to the camera. Could some kind soul please help me with some instructions? |

The Super Ikonta III has a different rangefinder compared to earlier Super Ikontas. It's build completly into the Topcover. I have a III, it didn't need a rangefinder adjustment so i didn't perform that but i made a set of photos of the system while cleaning it. You can find them here : http://www.flickr.com/photos/29504544@N08/3238727611/in/set-72157613088050471/ Again, i'm not sure if the rangefinder can be adjusted with these 2 screws. Hope somebody else does. |

Thank's for the link. Will check it out during the weekend. Luckily I have another pretty beat up Super Ikonta III that I can practice on. |
